Homeplace On Green River, Taylor Co, KY, March 2019
2019-03-29 - Taylor Co., KY - Photo by Robert Ellis. Robert writes, "Nearly two years ago to the date, I took a similar image of this lone tree on the Homeplace Farm. In that 2017 pic the tree had full foliage, so it appears the season is a little behind schedule. Comparing the two photos I prefer this one, since I was able to capture the sun, illuminating the leafless tree and creating a stark contrast to the sky and flowering field." --ROBERT ELLIS. Spurlington Trestle
2019-03-29 - Taylor Co., KY - Photo by Tommy Bailey. Tommy writes, "This picture was also taken at the same time as the first picture was. I had to scale down all the way to the bottom of a somewhat steep ravine to capture this shot of the wooden trestle bridge. I guess there was a lot quite praying going on while crossing. There was another bridge farther down the track but not nearly as steep and large. These bridges could have been in or near Marion County not sure. I have heard that all this was dismantled. What a heart breaker."
