The newest business set to open this month is the Magic Market Marathon in the Pinewood Center across the road from "the farm" - Miss Vicky's Pampered Angus Ranch on the outside edge of the New Columbia, KY developments. She recently observed the sign 'opening soon' and wrote, "the girls are keeping a close eye on all the changes in our neighborhood." Applications continue to be taken as the location is being finished on the inside. The flags for Dish and DIRECTV are from our friends at Satellite Solutions, also located in the Center. - LW

CPD now able to leave courtesy cards with details of visit

Following Monday night's council meeting, City Police Sergeant Jr. Murphy took time to explain the importance of "Courtesy Cards" to council members Mark Harris and Craig Dean. The idea was a correlation between Mayor Pam Hoots, city council members, and the Columbia City Police - door hangers will provide a visual presence that law enforcement is watching particular locations.
