ACN ad for Donnie's Drive-In
2019-04-14 - Columbia, KY - Photo courtesy Jim. By Jim
This image is a follow up to Peggy Fudge's great photo of Donnie's.
I noticed the sign in the photo has "Donnie's Drive Inn" while the front page blurb and the ad have Donnie's Drive-In".
Marshall and Nelda Sue Lloyd Rowe opened Donnie's Drive-In on Tuesday, October 1, 1957. The ad in the next day's Adair County News stated customers could dine inside or take advantage of the drive-in curbside service. Prior to this venture, Mr. Rowe managed the Circle R.

We have Babies at our Church!
2019-04-14 - Russell Springs, KY - Photo by Sandy Evert. Our congregants at Russell Springs United Methodist Church have been watching the Mother & eggs in this birds nest for several weeks now.
The nest is on a wooden wreath that hangs on one of our outside doors.
We snapped some pictures of them hatching this morning. They speak to us of new life and Jesus' sacrifice and offer of New Life to us during the beginning of Holy Week.
