Kelli Bonifer, Adair Home Extension Agent, hosted the workshop. From her information on whether or not people really need gluten free diets, it appears only one percent of the population really has a medical need for the diet. The rest of the population may only be reacting to marketing and spending more money than needed for no real additional diet nor health results.
