Elk hunt application deadline is Tue 30 Apr

Hunters have until midnight (Eastern time) on Tuesday, April 30, to apply for Kentucky's quota elk hunt. Applications are available online at fw.ky.gov.

Best day of my life, says Fisher Cundiff

The Cundiff family and friends came to City Hall to help focus awareness and understanding of Autism. Fischer, above, found the best part of having a proclamation signing event was getting the keys to the city and being named "Mayor for a Day" by Columbia Mayor Pam Hoots. He is pictured here declaring it, "the best day of my life!"

Weed Ridge not too weedy as these blooms demonstrate

Fischer and Aspen Cundiff were named Honorary Mayors for a Day and presented their very own Keys to the City. This Presentation was followed by a proclamation signing by Mayor Pam Hoots along with members of the boys' family and close friends recognizing April as Autism Awareness Month in Columbia. - RL

Graduating Art Majors

Graduating art majors Skylar Smith, Kelsey Grayson, Max Thompson, and Stormy Crenshaw are exhibiting in the Lucretia C. Begley gallery from today, April 25. There will be a reception this Friday, April 26, at 5pmCT, and an artist talk will also be offered next Tuesday, April 30, at 11amCT. The events are open to the public.

A 1950's era Corvette at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green. General Motors annouced an expansion of the Bowling Green assembly plant today, adding another 400 jobs as they prepare for the next generation of the iconic sports car.
