Seven Habits Leaders of the month of April named at CES

Campbellsville Elementary School named its Leaders of the Month for the month of April. Students chosen were selected because they excel at the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, specifically the seventh habit, which is to Sharpen the Saw. The students will be honored at a luncheon on Wednesday, May 1, with local community leaders.

Horse Plow team
 2019-04-29 - Homeplace on Green River, Tayor Co., KY - Photo by George Kolbenschlag. A close up of one of the plow teams at Saturday's Plow Days/Spring Festival. The first spring festival was the result of an invitation to host the well-established tractor show that was first organized in 1997 by Adair Countian Lewis Garrison. The tractor show was held each year at Mr. Garrisons farm, but its success made it hard to host so many people and tractors. When Mr. Garrison asked if Homeplace would host the show, the Homeplace Board enthusiastically agreed, and the Spring Festival at Homeplace joined the long-established fall heritage festival.
