Happy 89th Birthday wishes to Wilma Jean Cravens 2019-05-07 - Indianapolis, IN - Photo by Beth Cravens. On May 5th my wonderful mommy, Jean Cravens, turned 89 years young. She was born in Columbia to E.P. and Audrey Waggener. She has always been my sunshine and I am so very grateful that she is my mom. She is loved by so many people. She has many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and even some great great grandchildren, but many people call her grandma, even those who are not related to her. She is one of those rare people that illuminates the room with light and love when she walks into it. She still continues to shine on each of us lucky enough to know her. She loves with all her heart and when you get a hug from Jean Cravens you can sure feel the love. Here she is with her orange poppies (at right), lilac blooming in the background. At left she is pictured her in front of the old smoke bush with beautiful maroon leaves. Jolie Crowe will be singing in the ACHS Spring Concert 2019-05-07 - Adair County, KY - Photo from music director Ginna Franklin. Jolie Crowe is a member of the Choir and in seventh Grade. You can hear her sing in the Spring Concert on May 16. She is the Daughter of Loretta and Danny Goodin of Columbia,KY. She writes, "I've been singing since fourth grade. I discovered singing through Camp Safari in elementary school but took it seriously in the 6th grade (middle school choir). Choir has helped me a lot. It helps me focus and it's made me a better person, generally. I also really appreciate my family and Mrs. Franklin's support.
