Miss Kentucky visits Edmonton Baptist Church

2024-11-01 - Edmonton, KY - Photo from Carol Perkins.
Carol writes, "The Edmonton Baptist Church's Homecoming on Sunday, October 27, 2024, brought back to the congregation several members of the family of Dr. and Mrs. LP Emberton, whose children grew up there.

Miss Kentucky, Chapel Tinius, daughter of Dana (Emberton) and Jim Tinius, provided the music and shared her testimony. Chapel shared memories of her grandfather's home, her cousins, and performing as Annie (Tim Best production) at the Barn Lot.

Metcalfe County sends our support as she prepares for the Miss America contest. Chapel is pictured here with Tymber Garrett."

Robert writes, "One Park, three units: Clarno, Sheep Rock and Painted Hills.

We finally arrived at the Painted Hills Unit of the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument. The overcast skies, which I was thankful for, brought out the vibrant colors of the hills.
