Awards - Teresa Bright is Outstanding Employee

Teresa Bright, who holds several titles at the Adair County Extension Office, won the Outstanding Employee of the Year award. She was introduced by her friend and co-worker Tony Rose. Awards - Gina Baker wins Outstanding Volunteer

Gina Baker, volunteer for Downtown Days and Relay For Life, won the Outstanding Volunteer of 2019 award. She was introduced by husband Steven Baker, also an award nominee, at the annual banquet May 14. Pictured are: House Majority Floor Leader Bam Carney, Senator Max Wise, Steven and Gina, Adair CJE Gale Cowan, Chamber Director Ellen Zornes and Mayor Pam Hoots. Those also nominated, including Steven for his work with Relay For Life, were: Jerald Bryant, Hoops for Life; Krystal Cundiff, J.O.Y. Ministries; Thomas Long, Adair County Jaycees; Mary Ann Loy, Columbia Sidewalk Committee; Cynthia Rowe, Columbia-Adair Food Bank and Natalie Vickous, LWC Bonner Program.

Awards - Vicky Pike is Outstanding Agriculturist

Vicky Pike, owner of Miss Victoria's Pampered Angus Ranch, won the Outstanding Agriculturist of the Year award at the annual Columbia Adair Chamber of Commerce banquet May 14. Her good friend Cynthia Rowe introduced her. Pictured are: House Majority Floor Leader Bam Carney, Senator Max Wise, Vicky and Cynthia, Adair CJE Gale Cowan, Chamber Director Ellen Zornes and Mayor Pam Hoots.
