With temperatures surpassing the ninety-degree mark, bodies of water were an ideal place for recreation and relaxation. Both Green River Lake and Lake Cumberland saw their fair share of boaters but the creeks around Adair County had plenty of visitors as well. Lindsey Wilson softball's season came to an end today, falling 2-0 to No. 1-ranked Science & Arts of Oklahoma in the NAIA World Series at Killian Softball Stadium. Lindsey Wilson finishes one win shy of matching the 2015 Blue Raiders for the most wins in a single season. This year's Blue Raiders set a program record for the best single-season winning percentage, winning 91.2 percent of their games.
