Children will be participating in various ways in the worship time. A picnic style lunch will be served at noon. Happy 60th anniversary to Jim and Annette Richards

They were married at the Columbia Baptist Church on June 6th. Pictured from left are: Emma Grider, Jim and Annette, Fay McKinley, Ricky and Mitzi Bault, Jade Waggener, Ralph and Glinda Waggener and Lee Grider. Emergency exercise staged at the high school

On Thursday, June 6th, 2019, many Adair County emergency service agencies played roles in a staged exercise at the Adair County High School. This exercise was developed to simulate a true emergency with a realistic response by first responders. The exercise planning team, consisting of multiple local and state agencies, has been coordinating the execution of this exercise since November of 2018.

Second term for White on Jailers' Assn Board of Directors
 2019-06-07 - Bowling Green, KY - Photo courtesy Elizabeth White. The Kentucky Jailer's Association elects 20 men and women to serve on the Board of Directors and represent all 120 counties. This is Adair County Jailer Joey White's second term.
The Kentucky Jailers' Association is made up of constitutionally elected jailers and appointed Jail Administrator of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The goal of the association is to form an organization to establish harmony of action, insure protection and success, provide pecuniary support, secure protection and promote the best interests of the Jailers' in the State of Kentucky. We have been serving the training, legislative and support needs of Kentucky Jailers since 1982. The Jailers' Association Board of Directors is the governing body of the Kentucky Jailers' Association. The board members are elected annually at the Kentucky Jailers' Association Summer Conferences.

Crosswalk replacement on Campbellsville Main Street
 2019-06-06 - Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Larry Smith. As we work to beautify our city the concrete crosswalks are being removed and are being replaced with asphalt, eventually the crosswalks will be painted with some type of a design, according to Campbellsville Mayor Brenda Allen.
