Remembering Andi Chelf

Family members received the sad word of the loss of Andi Chelf last evening in Carmel, Indiana. She was always bright, creative, cheerful and truly beautiful. She was one of the most giving women on earth, and totally devoted to her family. Our hearts go out to Bob, Jenny, Amy, Lucy, Audrey and Molly. Arrangements will be shared when they become available.

Airline pilot Clayton Janes at School Board meeting

When it was Clayton Janes' time to introduce himself at the Adair County School Board June meeting, he said his former classmate Nick who graduated in 2018 had more experience to talk about. However, Clayton, as a senior at ACHS, has something major to discuss by already having earned his pilots license.

First Responders Day of training held June 6

Board member Terry Harvey, at right, provided comments at the School Board meeting about the June 6th day of safety training from his perspective as a member of the first responders in Adair County. He said the training helped every participating agency to be better prepared for protecting students in the event of an emergency, whether it might be an attack or a hurricane.
