2019-07-08 - Way north of Pellyton - Photo by Jackson Brower.
Jackson Brower writes, "Here is a photo of my friend, Joanne Knowlsen, in her back yard as she takes a break from her gardening. She is 83 and as smart, spry and energetic as a spring chicken. She will tolerate hungry deer eating her flowers and hosta plants, but she hates raccoons with a passion."

Kentucky Color: July 4th Twilight Warm up

2019-07-07 - Adair Co., KY - Photo by Billy Joe Fudge.
Billy Joe writes, "Libby and I sitting on our front porch anticipating Columbia/Adair County's official fireworks, and were treated to this July 4th Twilight Warm up! The warm up not only included some amazing fireworks but a most beautiful Thumbnail Moon swimming through a glorious, blue sky, twilight. In addition and just a few moments later, we saw what I thought was the ISS, but according to my internet search, it was only visible from Columbia in the AM of July 4th. Oh well, just another pesky UFO sighting, I suppose!"
