Virginia Creeper almost always has this form, no matter the size or conditions in which it grows. As with this one, Poison Ivy often times appears to have three leaves on it's tip but as it develops a good root system and it's vines begin to climb up fence posts, patio railings and tree trunks it will display huge individual leaves that are a rank, waxy green.
