KSP Recognizes Civilian Employees at Annual Ceremony

Kentucky State Police honored fourteen civilian employees at a ceremony in Lexington, including Brittany Kenyon, an Administrative Specialist II at Post 15 in Columbia. These award winners have exceled in public service and dedication to the agency this past year.

According to the Wikipedia entry for Silphium perfoliatum, Several parts of the cup plant show promise for medicinal use, and the long blossoming season and abundance of flowers provides a rich source for bees and the cultivation of honey.

Excellent performance wraps up summer youth theatre camp at LWC

Remember these young actors, you'll want to see them every chance you have! Every on of them performed perfectly in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer produced by TheatreFest! IMAGINE! Youth Theatre at Lindsey Wilson College. The cast is pictured in their final performance Sunday, July 21, 2019. Scenic Kentucky: Lake Cumberland Motel sign

A vintage monument of sorts stands at the junction of 55 South and US 127 in Jamestown. The sign and deserted gas station brings back fond memories for those traveling through the area. Currently a new bypass is being built directly across "memory lane".
