Huge raindrops fell over Adair County in the middle of the afternoon today, July 30, 2019, as thunderstorms rolled past and the sun was shining through the gray clouds. This view is of the Columbia Sav A Lot parking area, looking out toward Bryant Realty. I asked a shopper what it meant when the sun was shining and it was raining at the same time? Ken Parsley wins the Kentucky State ASA Archery Tournament 2019-07-30 - Frankfort, KY - Photo by Linda Parsley. ACHS Senior Ken Parsley won the Kentucky State ASA Archery Tournament in Frankort, KY over the weekend. Ken competed in the High School Open Male division and had a total score of 312. The KY ASA tournament consisted of 30 3D targets which were in a wooded setting at the Cove Springs Archery Park in Frankfort. Ken competes in several archery tournaments throughout the eastern U.S. His next competition will be later this week at the McKenzie ASA Pro/Am Classic in Metropolis, IL.
