Columbia explorers Bob and Diane Benningfield saw the list of ferries in Kentucky posted on CM recently and were inspired to check them all out. They had ridden the Cumberland River ferry already and Monday they went to the Valley View Ferry that crosses the Kentucky River in Jessamine - Fayette County.

ACSO: Large marijuana growing operation cut down

The Sheriff's Office cut and packed out 1,017 marijuana plants from a large growing operation this morning. The plants ranged from 3 feet to 6 feet in height, with a street value of over $500,000 at full maturity.
