Silent City annual cemetery tour getting organized
 2019-08-05 - 307 Greensburg, Street, Columbia, KY . Earnestine Bennett, Genealogy Librarian at the Adair County Public Library, is working on the 2019 Silent City Cemetery Tour, helping match volunteer actors with actual life stories of those buried in the historic Columbia Cemetery. The annual event is scheduled for Monday, October 5 at 5pmCT and is sponsored by the Adair County Genealogical Society and Adair County Public Library. October is Family History Month and the Silent City Tour is an effort to kick-off a month of family and local history research. It was all smiles at City's Back to School special event
 2019-08-05 - Columbia - Photo from the office of Mayor, Columbia, KY. Mayor Pam Hoots and City Clerk Rhonda Loy shared, "Our Back to School Bash was a blast!!!! Over 300 turned out for Back to School goodies, sno-cones, Hot Rods tickets and lunch provided by Air -Evac. Special thanks to all of our sponsors, volunteers and especially all of the businesses that turned out to pass out items for the kids."
