Country road sign will have to be repaired

Sadly, road signs get shot up, painted over and stolen in rural areas where damage and/or theft can be easily and anonymously perpetrated - at a high cost for repairs and replacement. The black paint on this Adair County sign disappointed me as I drove down scenic Dunville Road from Casey County into Adair.

Farmers Market Week proclamation signed at FM2

Farmers Market Week is proclaimed in the state and locally to spotlight farmers, local artists/craftsmen, and local small businesses - the backbone of the community, having contributed to the development and well-being of Adair County since the earliest formation of the county. Included in the picture are: Darrell Bunnell, market president; Judge Executive Gale Cowan; vice president Darrell Andrew, market coordinator Donna Jones, Tim Blackaby, David Burris and young Andrew David Miller, Dan and Brandy Held, Tom Frazier, Kellis Booth and daughters Cadence and Kennedy. Farmers Market on the Square is held each Wednesday and Saturday at the corner of Merchant and Campbellsville Streets in Columbia, KY.

 2019-08-07 - Photo from the family. Joint graveside services will be held for Joseph Anthony Curry, 42, his wife Jaime Harper Curry, 41, at 1pmCT Thursday at the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens.
A celebration of life gathering will be held immediately following the graveside service at the Edmonton Baptist Church.
There will be no visitation prior to the graveside services.
