Special needs dog waiting for a caring home

This sweet sole is up for adoption at the Green River Animal Shelter (GRAS). She is a Lab, up in years, but boy is she a sweetheart. She needs a forever home to live out the rest of her years. She can't hear the best or see the best but she gets around like no one's business. She is great with everything and loves people and affection. Lois Cunningham has sponsored her adoption fee Please remember she is an older dog with older dog issues - if you cannot give her a FOREVER home, nor afford health care for her, Please do not consider adopting her. $25.00 adoption fee. 270-385-9655. - TC

Kentucky Color: Bingo!

For years it has been rumored that Great Wooded South University's Genetic Research Department has had some success enhancing the size of animals. Now, finally we have proof! After days and days of searching in response to reported sightings of a giant rabbit in the Highland communities of Sparksville and Breeding, bingo! I sure hope the geniuses at GWSU know what they are doing and I will be forever grateful that rabbits are vegetarian!

LWC Fall 2019 International Student Force

Sabine Eastham, Director of International Student Programs at LWC, proudly presents the Fall 2019 "International Student Force" - 55 new international students from 29 different countries.

Total international student population is typically 100+ students from 36+ different countries. Sabine says, "We are excited to see these #ispworldstars grow, and can't wait to learn about their cultures and traditions!"
