Over 200 students were in the drawing for only having 2 or less absences during the first 9 weeks of the 2019-2020 school year. John Deere at rest in the tobacco barn 2019-10-25 - near Gabe, Green Co., KY - Photo by Robert Ellis. Here's another photo from traveling through the Gabe area last weekend. I always keep a sharp eye out for pretty much "any" tractor parked in a barn... but rarely do I ever spot an older John Deere with the "proper" patina parked in a barn with tobacco hanging over it. Having grown up with John Deere tractors alongside of us on the farm, this type of image naturally evokes very happy memories. --ROBERT ELLIS.
