Mr. Curry, seated at left, received thanks and honors as Mayor Pam Hoots proclaimed today, Friday, November 8, 2019 as Raymond Curry Day in Columbia for his service. He was one of 72 servicemen to participate in the "Honor Flight" from Kentucky. He served in the Korean War and earned a Bronze Star.

Educator of the Month is Mrs. Teresa Giles

Mrs. Teresa Giles has been named the Educator of the Month for ACEA-Adair County Education Association an affiliate of KEA and NEA.
She teaches Computer Science and Computer Programming. She is in her seventeenth year as a teacher.
Her IT classes include IT Computer Literacy, Computational Thinking, AP Computer Science, AP Computer Science Principles, Introduction to Programming and Project-Based Learning. She is the Perkin V Cordinator for ACHS as wells as TEDS.
