Give and take bin is for sharing items with homeless
2019-11-13 - Columbia - Photo from the office of the Adair Judge Executive. The weatherproof container is a gift from a vendor of Fiscal Court and is meant to be a drop off place/pick up place for homeless. ACJE Gale Cowan at left writes, "We might not want to admit it, but Adair does have homeless people in our county. This is just one way we as a community can help. If you want to donate something to be placed in the container, feel free to leave it in the container. If you or someone you know is in need, feel free to take what you need. I had talked to Blake Bottoms, at right, with Danville Office Equipment about wanting something to put outside the annex building to put new or gently used jackets, hats, gloves, blankets, etc, in - a special Thank You to them for the donation of the container." -- GC
