Campbellsville Elementary School preschool students recently studied the letter V. In addition to learning to write the letter in uppercase and lowercase, students in Suzanna Streeval’s class learned several words that start with V. Cattle On The Farm, Adair County (Part I) 2019-11-13 - Adair Co., KY - Photo by Robert Ellis. I took this image a couple days ago on the Joe Watson Farm. Rarely do I turn images into black and white, but I think this image was improved by utilizing that technique. I like how the left over remnants of Ironweed (I think) forces the eyes to travel to the cow in the background...only for a brief moment then on to Momma Cow, ears up, ever alert! Lastly, finishing the scene with a quick look at Baby, relaxed ears, resting comfortably and safe by Momma's side. The end. --ROBERT ELLIS.
