The Columbia Planning and Zoning said no to consideration of conditional zoning in this case. They are staying true to their understanding of the City's Comprehensive Plan on the issue of spot zoning which they applied in this case. Jason Upchurch, director of Adair County in 911, went before the City Council in the citizen comments time with a request for funds in next years budget to help with the purchase and installation of new fixtures and equipment.
