Pam Scott, seated at right, was surprised by the Lewis Transport family who worked behind the scenes with Mayor Pam Hoots, at left, to declare November 15th as Pam Scott Day in Columbia, KY. Now a large corporation centered in Louisville, the company was started on Reed Street in Columbia in the 1930s by Alvin Lewis and grew to Louisville. The headquarters remain in Columbia where 18 of its 40 employees work. Lisa Lewis, standing at right, will be taking the company leadership in Louisville.
