Remembering Veterans Fred Collins and Murvin Grant 2019-11-28 - Columbia - Photo from Sheila Grant Neat. We recently discovered newspapers from the end of the war - Grandfather Fred T. Collins of Glens Fork, KY and my Grandmother had saved the old papers announcing the war was over. I couldn't believe the papers were in such great shape. I have more if your readers are interested in them. I had planned on sharing it at the 100th anniversary but hid them from myself. LOL. The Newspapers are large and hard to get in a picture that we're able to read so I made several close ups so it would be readable. My Dad, Murvin Grant of Glens Fork, served in World War II.
