How do birds decide who attends?

A question: I wonder how birds decide who attends the evening gathering as the sun sets? Just family members? Are they all the same kind/race of birds? Is it decided by where they are from - a whole community - maybe only the birds from Sulphur Well in one group? Or is it random - simply whoever can fit? Just wondering. - LW

Mitzi Bault honored at early Thanksgiving event

The girl in red, Mitzi, directs her smile at husband Ricky Bault (holding up the cell phone) at a family gathering to honor her the day before Thanksgiving 2019. Her mother and brothers were joined by aunts, uncles and cousins adding their love and prayers to those of her children and grandchildren. Mitzi posted, "...each year I ask my kids for their Christmas wish list and here is what they wrote - "Jacob: I want your cancer to go away. Blake: I want you well. Zack: Your cancer gone. Kaylee: For you not to be sick..." Mitzi has been open about her battles with cancer in hopes of helping others. Her gift is encouragement, "never give up." Family prayers for Mitzi are for strength and complete healing.

Thankful for family time

This Thanksgiving family gathered in special celebration of Mitzi McKinley Bault, center, to share the love, prayers and respect for her in her battle against cancer. Mitzi's bravery and determination through three different cancer episodes in her life continue to amaze and inspire family and friends. She is in the miracle-healing records and has been asked to speak about her experience. She has been very open in hopes of helping others - her motto is 'never give up!'
