A counterfeit twenty dollar bill

On a stop in a business Friday, I noticed this counterfeit twenty dollar bill on the bulletin board by the checkout counter. They were kind enough to take it down for a photo and explain that the magic pen clerks swipe over them turns color when it's a fake.

What could have made the dog appear nearly legless?

Responses to the question posted last week indicate agreement that this is a small animal, a dog, but letters sent in since indicate we're still guessing what the circumstances could possibly have been that make it appear nearly legless. Thank you to all who wrote in for a great conversation about the dog and the West Corner of the Public Square in Columbia. LW

At the December Chamber Gathering in Columbia

The Chamber meets each second Tuesday of the month at 11amCT in Cranmer Dining Center on the campus of LWC. The next meeting will be January 14, 2020.
