This is one of the favorite Christmas ornaments my granddaughters Hailey and Tillie unpacked, placed on the tree just after Thanksgiving, and will now pack back up until next year. It is in the form of an old fashioned radio and has the words, "North Pole Countdown" on it. New Columbia Adair County Economic Development Authority Board member Chester Taylor, at right, was welcomed at the December meeting. In comments, he said he hopes to see Adair County go to other cities and ask how they have recruited jobs. During his visits to business and industry over his career, he said he has come to feel that if Adair County could even get crumbs off the table of some of the larger cities growth that we would be in great shape.
