Elk capture with helicopter

Researchers will use a helicopter to locate and capture elk this month as part of a major research study on elk reproduction and population growth. The research will be conducted throughout Kentucky's elk zone and will launch this month.

Damage at this residence contained to kitchen


2020-01-11 - Taylor County, KY - Photo from Chris Taylor, Chief, Campbellsville Fire-Rescue.
Friday, January 10, 2020 at 1717 hours, the Campbellsville Fire Rescue was dispatched to a residential structure fire at 808 North Columbia Avenue in Campbellsville. Smoke was coming from the roof of the residence and fire in the attic area above the kitchen. There was moderate damage contained to the kitchen. Cause of the fire is believed to be related to electrical.

Dr. Bargione speaks at Adair and Russell Health Departments

He had been the featured speaker in the Russell County Health Department earlier helping those who work in the helping services.
