Bliss Road atop the hill at Steve Harvey's Sawmill, the point where this photo was made during these wintry days, looks across Hwy 80/Edmonton Road outside of Columbia, to Lampton Lane. The two smaller roads make a scenic ring around the south and west sides of Columbia. Bliss Road connects to Jones Chapel Road. Lampton Lane - where I made eye contact with the biggest deer I've ever seen - connects Hwy 80/Edmonton Road to Hwy 61/Greensburg Road. New resident is Sylvie, not Sylvester as first thought 2020-01-14 - Adair County, KY - Photo from Lee Ann Jessee. Sylvie - thought first to be a Sylvester - recently took up the guard cat position at the home of Lee Ann and Greg Jessee, watching over the Jeeps in the garage. Marie, Mouse and GG are reported to be alright with the new addition as long as they each have their separate living areas. Like two of their other three cats, Sylvie just appeared, and stayed. The Gentle Chair Yoga class holds its first meeting of the new year today, Tuesday, January 14, 2020 and it is open to all. It meets at 10amCT each Tuesday at the Holloway Health and Wellness Center on the campus of Lindsey Wilson College. Pictured after a recent class are Linda Waggener, Pat Rickman, Elizabeth Webb and Kathy Franklin. The class started in July of 2019 for five weeks and has kept going. Congratulations to Jackson Dean 2020-01-13 - Bowling Green, KY - Photo by Tarrah Johnson. Congratulations to Jackson Dean (6th grader) of Columbia, who competed in the Top Nazarene Talent (TNT) competition for the State of Kentucky, in Bowling Green on January 10 & 11, 2020. Jack competed in Basketball, Track and Football against middle school and high school students from across the state and was selected to represent Kentucky on the Regional Football team. Jack will travel to Nashville to compete with all other selected KY All-stars from across the state. They will compete against other state teams from the Southeast region of the United States. Robert writes, "A little about the tractor...Stacie said he had been attempting for a number of years to buy this tractor and finally the owner came around to selling it to him. The tractors current placement necessitated the image to be taken as displayed, but I think it works nicely since the gravel the tractor rests on blends and compliments the overall pic. Pic taken late evening, hence the overall darkness of the image."
