Youth Programs introduced at Chamber luncheon

Allison Cross is the Youth Programs Coordinator/Community Liaison for the Center for Rural Development in Somerset. She invited Adair County leaders in attendance at the January meeting of the Columbia Adair Chamber of Commerce to help spread the word about the programs available and opportunities for young people through the Center.

Thanking the Mayor for responsiveness on TR House

Vonnie Kolbenschlag thanked Mayor Pam Hoots after the State of the City presentation for her responsiveness on the Trabue Russell House when upgrades have been needed to the historic City property. The house was a gift to the City and is an asset to be maintained. Vonnie has been the lead volunteer to oversee all the recent interior renovations. Of the many events held over the years at the Trabue Russell House, clicking on this one may take you to the most romantic of all.
