Asher Martin has exciting family news

Asher, 4, sitting in the arms of his Mom, Haley Martin, had exciting news Sunday at LWC's Cranmer Dining Center - he is going to be joined by a baby brother or sister in the coming months! Nana Cathy Martin has double the reasons to smile now. Asher's Dad, Blake, and Granddad David, were checking the buffet when this picture moment happened, but they were all smiles as well.

ASCO: Sheriff's office provides over $48,000

In two Fiscal Court reports, January 28 and February 11, 2020, Sheriff Josh Brockman has turned over to the County Treasurer a total of $48,440.34. They had budgeted just $8,000 so everyone was pleased with the final results. The County Clerk will also have monies to announce in upcoming meetings.

Doc Watson's Burgoo on the genealogy program menu

Mike Watson provided Burgoo for the genealogy program, Historic Kentucky Kitchen, Saturday at the Adair Public Library. He said he didn't provide a copy of his recipe because he doesn't really use one. It was made with chicken, venison and pork, and then he creates each unique batch from experience.
