Dove field farming

Kentucky Fish and Wildlife is interested in reaching agreements with property owners who have acreage in underserved areas that have significant numbers of dove hunters, as part of the Cooperative Dove Field Program. Boyle, Cumberland, Laurel, Lincoln, Pulaski and Wayne counties are areas of interest in southcentral Kentucky.

Now blossoming in our coldest weather

We've had a few really cold days as February 2020 comes to its end but this beautiful red bush is paying no attention to the freezing temps. In our extra day, tomorrow, February 29th, we can get out and scout more flowers. This is a Quince, in the old days called burning bush, however that's a different one. Bryan Mills spoke at last Fiscal Court meeting

Bryan Mills from Senator Rand Paul's Office, standing, appeared before the Adair County Fiscal Court at the start of February's final meeting Tuesday, February 25, 2020. He handed out his information and reminded everyone they could call on the Senator at any time.

Policing the neighborhood

These two were on duty Thursday, February 27, 2020 policing their property. They stayed with the car, barking and biting at the tires a good way past their yard just to make the point - no trespassing!

ISP students preparing for International Day

What a wonderful crew! Working on pretend passports for our "International Day of Cultural Diversity and Learning," which will be held at Adair County Middle School, 322 General John Adair Dr, Columbia, KY, on March 27, 2020. Over students will take a trip around the world, visiting with our students and learning about their countries.
