Academic Recognition Month in Columbia
 2020-03-05 - Columbia - Photo from City Hall, Columbia, KY. The whole month of March has been designated Academic Recognition Month in Columbia by Mayor Pam Hoots to recognize students in the Adair County School System for their academic achievements. Adair County Elementary School, the Adair County Middle School, and Adair County High School Academic Teams have shown excellence. All students were presented with individual certificates of achievement. A certificate was also presented in memory of freshman Academic Team member Elizabeth Smith who passed away last week. The City of Columbia will be planting a rose bush in her honor in the rose garden at the Trabue Russell House.

Boy Scout Troop 185 leads Pledge at City Council meeting

Each month guests from Columbia and Adair County are invited to be leaders at the meeting.
