He showed up in the fields at the bottom of the Hurt Street hill in Columbia where the horses graze. He came toward my cat's food dishes and I attempted to give him food - he was licking his lips to appear hungry - but he raced away when I got close. - LW EVENING UPDATE: Alas, this is not the missing cat - at least not the one that was reported earlier this week. AC Fire Department working on SBCA grant 2020-03-18 - Columbia - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. A week ago, before the new guidelines on meetings were put into place, Adair County Fire department officials attended the first March Fiscal Court meeting to ask for support of a grant for $170,000 for the purchase of self-contained breathing apparatus (SBCA). The Court approved their request. Judge Executive Gale Cowan said the grant is only a pass-through using Fiscal Court, but no monies will come from Fiscal Court pertaining to this grant.
