Third COVID-19 death reported in Adair County

7:15pmET Wednesday evening, April 15, 2020 -- "The Lake Cumberland District Health Department (LCDHD) reported the third death in Adair County from the Coronavirus." More information will be posted as received. There were no details in this written report as to the exact location of the patient. The two previous deaths were from the nursing home.

Cat and peacock among superstitions about rain

Some superstitions say a cat washing herself while looking out the window, forecasts rain. This is supposed to be a favorite saying in the state of Maine.

Another superstition says that when a peacock loudly bawls, soon we'll have rain and squalls. Across many cultures, peacocks are said to bawl more loudly than usual to predict rain.
