Mary Baker has worked at LWC for 2 years. She worked for a year as an adjunct instructor in the English Department and has been a full-time English Instructor for a year. Her favorite thing about LWC is that she loves all of her colleagues and how supportive and welcoming they are. She also loves her students! Gas pipeline emergency ends well 2020-04-27 - Adair County, KY - Photo Adair EMS. Adair County Emergency Management reported that all was well after what could have been a bad situation with the gas pipeline running across the county. The issue was determined by Enbridge Gas Company to be a main water line leak that crosses the gas pipeline. Residents that had to be evacuated were given the all clear to return to their homes after it was cleared Saturday. Responding to help were Columbia - Adair County Fire Department, Adair Sheriffs Office, Kentucky State Police, Columbia Gas Department, Columbia Adair Water District and Adair 911.
