First church service in ten weeks since the shut down due to the Coronavirus was held with great caution at Columbia United Methodist Church Sunday, May 24, 2020. Before the church was opened, extensive cleaning was done and seating was controlled so that families could maintain safe social distance. Masks and hand sanitizer were provided at each entrance. Blindness hasn't stopped this educator 2020-05-26 - Taylor County, KY - Photo from Campbellsville University. Lori Eubank, adjunct instructor in the School of Education, was named the recipient of the Challenger Award from the Student Government Association (SGA) during Campbellsville University's Honors and Awards Day video. She has a long-standing background in education and due to her recent blindness, made the difficult decision to leave her position as administrator of Kentucky Christian Academy. Eubank has had training on how to navigate her community with a cane, has learned new computer programs and has had training with her new guide dog, Gus.
