Postcards from LWC: Annissa Koekemoer

2020-06-17 - Columbia, KY - Photo courtesy Lindsey Wilson College.
By Sabine Eastham, Director of the International Student Program at LWC

This time, we would like to showcase a returning student. Meet Annissa Koekemoer, from Cape Town in South Africa who has been attending LWC since August 2019.

She is currently at home, spending time with her family during her countrywide lockdown.

Her major is psychophysiology (pre-med) and she is on the LWC swim team. What she is most looking forward to is returning back to campus, seeing her team and friends and meeting the newest members of our LWC family. She said one fun fact about her is that she is known to be very clumsy.

A perfect Tiger Lily

2020-06-17 - Adair County, KY - Photo shared by Joyce Coomer.
Among the many choices of Lilies blooming this month, the awesome Tiger Lily is a standout. The heirloom plant is poisonous to humans, so it's best to look and don't touch.
