Casey Wall and Clayton Janes receive scholarships

The Hoots Memorial Scholarship Program is awarding two scholarships to Adair County High School seniors this year. The Program is setup to honor Gene and Joyce Hoots of Columbia, and, recipients are to be planning on a career in a technical field. Celebrating Branston Gene Cowan's first year

Branston Gene Cowan will be one year old on September 4, 2020 and the celebrating is ongoing in the hearts of great grandparents, Mitzi and Ricky Bault, Grandma Cowan and the rest of the family. Mitzi said she made this picture of little Branston on a recent visit as he played with his Dad's toy tractors. She said he likes to drive them on their sides. Branston is the son of Blake and MaKaylee Cowan.

Sad word of passing of Lynn Earl Huddleston

School 2020 begins in virtual classrooms

This is what the first day of 10th grade looked like for Adair County High School student Justin Walker in his virtual classroom. All students started virtually on August 24, 2020 with hopes that face-to-face classroom experiences can begin in September. Justin is the son of Billy Walker and Barry and Tammy Stotts.
