Joshua Loves Succulents is the name of this home school seventh grader's business. He points to a "devils Backbone", one of many plants he brought to the Plant Swap event at the Trabue Russell House Saturday. Joshua is the son of Sarah and Jacob Evans of the Gradyville area of Adair County.

Law enforcement working together

Local law enforcement came together over the weekend at the corner of Dillon and Greensburg Streets for a vehicle stop and search. Columbia Police called on the Adair County Sheriff's Office for use of their on duty K-9 for a drug search along with assistance from Kentucky State Police. More details will be printed as received.

Clothing available free at JOY Ministries in Columbia

Come by the JOY Ministries Crisis Center on Greensburg Street in Columbia and get any clothing that you may need. We currently have several items; especially women’s and little girls clothing. We also have a lot of hangers if anyone is in need. We currently only need men's and baby clothing, linens, blankets and food donations.
