Darylyn Joyce Phillips CU Homecoming in the 80s

Darylyn Joyce Phillips was crowned Homecoming Queen in the late 1980s at a Campbellsville College basketball game.
The tradition of Homecoming Court will continue virtually through the Student Government Association's crowning of the Homecoming Queen 2020. A student representing a club, residence hall, sport, etc. will be voted on by her fellow peers to claim the title.
The winner will be announced at 3pmET on Campbellsville University's YouTube channel.

Homemakers membership drive 2020

Everyone who joined the Adair County Extension Homemakers last week through Saturday received a "goodie bag" which included gifts donated by UK Healthcare, Lake Cumberland District Health Department, TJ Samson Hospital and Susan Komen Breast Cancer Foundation (October is Breast Cancer Awareness month). Membership dues to join the Adair County Extension Homemakers are $10 annually for either Club membership or mailbox membership. Anyone can be a member. For more information about Extension Homemakers, call Sharon Harris, County President at 270-378-0548, or call the Adair County Extension Office at 270-384-2317. Weekend fishing tournament here on Green River Lake

The Adair County Tourism Commission has been planning for many months to bring crowds to Adair County for the Crappie USA tournament happening on Green River Lake this weekend. On Saturday, October 24, 2020 the big prize, $125,000 will be awarded.
