Fishing tournament final day

Participants in the Crappie USA tournament on Green River Lake begin again today, rain or shine, for the final hours working toward the grand prize of $125,000 which will be awarded this afternoon at Holmes Bend Marina.

Spooky clouds

After 3 o'clock Friday the sky began to change from lovely October Kentucky weather to spooky October weather. Thunderstorms soon followed. On Green River Lake at Holmes Bend, buckets of rain began to fall on the fishermen who were bringing in their first day's Crappie tournament results for weigh-in. They begin again today, rain or shine, for the final hours working for the grand prize of $125,000.

Hot breakfast dish on FM2 potholder

The colors of fresh eggs, asparagus and mushrooms are complimented by the handmade potholder from Donna's booth at the Farmers Market on the Square - open tomorrow, Saturday, October 24, 2020. This is one of only two Saturdays left in the 2020 FM2 season.
