VFW Post 6097 program is today in Columbia

Flags are flying for Adair County's Veterans. VFW Post 6097 Columbia Post Commander Ken Edwards will be leading a short program to remember all veterans at the post today, Wednesday, 11 Nov 2020. It will be held outside at the Memorial Monument and it is requested all members attending wear a mask and social distance.

New oil strike in Columbia

Oil has been found on the property of Connie Stotts, Hwy 61 just south of Walmart and the Cumberland Parkway in Columbia. Drilling set up one day and oil was discovered the next. Standing by the rig are John Burness and the Withers drilling crew.

Missing Dogs
