Yesterday I opened a package and inside was the medal and badge for the Jimmy Stewart Good Citizenship Award. I was very excited to receive them but also to have completed all the work required for them. I had to take a quiz on Jimmy Stewart, write a 500 word paper on good citizenship in scouting, and complete a service project dedicated to Jimmy Stewart. I learned a lot about him, especially about his film and military career, and even enjoyed a few of the movies he starred in. He was a really nice guy, a Boy Scout, and retired from the air force reserves as a Brigadier General. Hutchison & Sons" name, appeared in the March 25, 1930 edition of the Adair County News, a few months after the establishment moved to new quarters near the east corner of the Square. In addition to farm implements, seed, and a general line of hardware, the store continued to carry a line of groceries as it had for several years and also sold Firestone tires.
