Deb Waddell, Adair County Middle School science teacher and President of the Adair County Education Association, is pictured here "in class" - a virtual classroom - sharing her pets with her students who also share their pets from their homes with the class. In their virtual classroom experiences of 2020, she says she has met many of her student's pets, including guinea pigs, cats and dogs, and a horse. Helping Deb with this class are her dogs, from left: Jake, Sammie, Lola on top, and Belle. There is one more dog, Ellie, not pictured, and five cats. "Yeah," she says, "that’s how I rumble. Lol." Early morning Worshipers at the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church drive in service, were treated to an unusual display of numerous aircraft contrails as Christmas travelers hurried on their way home. At times as many as 9 aircraft could be seen as they made their way to destinations unknown. Prayers were in order for an end to the current Pandemic and unknown travelers, as well as Church family, community and our Nation as we prepare for a new year filled with Peace Love and Hope.
