New pastor at Gradyville Baptist Church

Gradyville Baptist Church would like to announce a new pastor, Bro. Adam Pruitt, pictured here with his wife Cybele. The new services schedule is as follows: Sunday school at 9:30amCT, worship service at 10:45am; the first and third Sunday nights at 6pm, and Wednesday night Bible study and youth meeting at 6pm.

Drilling today in Flatwoods

Vicky writes, "Drilling for oil in the Cliff Curry bottoms this morning in the Flatwoods community just south of the Cumberland Parkway."

No oil was found on this drill but the location is in a field where there will continue to be efforts.
