Clean up day in Columbia 2021-03-25 - Columbia, KY - Photo from City Hall, Columbia, KY. Jackie Chapman is pictured reaching high over the bin to place another bag of trash collected on the city's clean up day. In a note from Mayor Pam Hoots, she shared that, "88 bags of trash were picked up from the traffic light at the Veterans Memorial Bypass to the Walmart shopping area... 18 people and 2 hours of work covering about a mile. That is absolutely insane! Do your part Columbia, don’t litter. Look at what a difference we could make if everyone that’s able would give a little of their time.
